fresh again: 14122008

what happen on my actual birthday then?

i.. went to church!

cause it was a Sunday!

and i happily bounced around quietly, thanking those few who actually approached me and wished me. Wenjing just refused to wish me. it was pretty obvious she had something prepared. just don't wanna say. haha. but sadly, silly weiyi spoiled the fun by leaking out a little here and there. cute sia she.

after service before rehearsals start and while we lunched, weiyi made me sit at the center of the table, and everyone was quiet. was a little awkward though.

and then out came the humongous fully chocolate cake!

haha. sing song and make wish and blow candles and cut cake and blah blah blah.

and when i finally took a look at the cake, i was glad. cause it said.

i suddenly feel that pkc is really part of my life, part of me. somewhere i could find the joy, and the peace i can't find in school or in class. where everyone's just focusing on God and God alone. and all our worries are left outside the door before we step in. and all our burdens are lifted up to Him. thank you paul for the cake and everyone for the presents. samuel for the delivery of presents and clement for the prettiest bouquet i've ever received. love you peeps soooo much!

then i was on my way to meeting scaliger at bugis for steamboat! it's actually quite weird that im celebrating my birthday with them, not qiangqiang, not mummy, not michelle and renwei, but with pkc and scaliger. never did i expect this year to be this way. but i didn't regret meeting them that day. they're another bunch of awesome people i can feel so natural with. just look at our dumb and cute photos!
